What to expect…

We will jaag on the streets…
We will jaag on the tracks…
We will jaag…

Every 3rd weekend of the month is official breakfast run time for most clubs/groups. The universe will come to a standstill and all bikers will tremble and know bikers are out riding.

Terms you might run in:

Road Captain
Person arranging ride is road captain for the day - unless he/she asks someone else, or doesn’t feel like it or show up or something.
Person arranging ride must be there come hell or high water – no excuses.
See that everyone knows where route/next stop is.
Road Captain try to maintain agreed upon speed – a comfortable speed for the slowest bike.

Sweeper
Experienced rider should be made to ride sweeper not fastest rider.
Sweeper must have cell phone and number of someone in main group.
Sweeper never rides away from anyone.
Sweeper responsible to see that no-one stays behind.

Inexperienced Riders
Inexperienced riders in front of sweeper but near back until they have proved their ability to the sweeper.
Try not to ride into anything or fall off (too often).

Experienced Riders
Fastest bike/rider rides behind Road Captain.
You want to take on a pass and cut through the group - make certain you know where next stop is and don’t endanger anyone.

Hand Signals
Hand signals - scratch helmet = I’m lost, take the lead anyone - ANYONE.
Hand in air and loud screaming = I’ve fallen off my bike, please wait for me to catch up.
Laying in the bushes blood gushing from open wounds – please call me an ambulance, if it’s not to much trouble.
Point to item in road = watch out for this oil/dead cow etc.

General
Wait 7 minutes if we know someone confirmed his presence and is not there yet.
Always regroup at possible turnoffs or next discussed stopping point.
Do not try and ride above you or your bikes ability, we WILL wait for all riders and NOT be irritated.
If you fall off due to recklessness we WILL be pissed off!
Must be at ride start seven mins before takeoff for briefing / stopping points etc.
Staggered formation as far as possible.
