The Adventurers rename the BeasTT to Julius Seizure
The excitement from the early morning escape had died down. Beetlejuice tried a wheelie or two just to shake the dust off so to speak. His wife had once said that she wasn’t worried about him having a mid life crisis as he still had a few years to go before he finishes his adolescence. Apparently the reason that these two get on so well.
The BeasTT soon showed that it hadn’t forgotten about the heat seizes and soon it was renamed to Julius Seizure. They hobbled on from stop to stop letting the Beast cool down. The XL was still running ok but trying to do more than 100km/hr had the front end slapping from side to side as the wind hit the mudguard anyway so Axel was content to ride slowly and wait for Julius Seizure. Many times on this stretch Axel woke from a recurring dream of his sport bike not sitting in his garage but here on these long stretches of tar. Beetlejuice was cursing and a bit nervous about how long the TT would last but eventually they reached the split up point with Beetlejuice heading off across the N1 back to Somerset West and Axel continuing on home to the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.
This had been a long trip kilometres wise and Axel was glad to be home where he found that his brother was recovering from his pneumonia and was out of hospital.
Beetlejuice was just as glad to retire the TT to his garage to be stripped down and prepared for their next trip, hopefully in a far better condition than this time. Both the TT and the XL were slapped together 2 days before they left, the TT being made up of parts of a XT550 and the original TT. None of the electrics was working and both bikes lost oil constantly.
This was a crazy trip and if it wasn’t these two crazy bikers involved it would never have even been attempted with the available equipment. Hopefully their next trip they are planning will be far more prepared and organised

But somehow it’s doubtful……………
